An Android app that recognises Russian and multilingual speech entirely on the device. It works in airplane mode, sends no recordings anywhere and touches the network only when you ask it to download a model pack.

How to install

Where the models come from

01A build with the models insideThe full APK carries the packs and unpacks them on first launch: nothing to download separately, but the file is much larger.
02Download from the appSettings → "Download models": the app fetches the catalogue, downloads the packs and verifies the sha256 of every file. It is off by default and happens only on a tap.
03Transfer from a computerA script in the project pushes the packs into the app's private directory over a cable — the way for a device with no network.
04Which packs existRussian fast, Russian maximum quality, streaming recognition and speaker separation; the language and the quality follow the pack you choose.

Before installing

Where do I download the app?

The build is not on this page yet: a signed release has not been issued. It can already be built from source, and the ready file will appear here.

Where do the recordings and the text go?

Nowhere. Recognition runs on the phone: the audio and the transcript stay in the device's storage, the app sends nothing to a server.

Do I need the internet?

Once — to download the model pack you chose. After that the app works in airplane mode.

Which languages are supported?

Russian and multilingual models: the language is set by the pack you downloaded.

How do the quality modes differ?

The normal mode is faster and saves battery; the maximum mode gives more accurate text on difficult recordings and dialogues.
